Iswaran’s case has caused long-lasting damage to Singapore - but it’s not the ex-minister’s fault

Public servants should exhibit discernment in their work. This includes both ministers as well as the members of the justice system.

I am keeping this post behind the paywall, as I do not want to be seen criticising some of Singapore's institutions in public. Even though I rarely restrict myself in my commentary, I do think some things are best left outside broad circulation.

At the same time, however, I want to be able to voice them and I believe my paid members are here to access this sort of commentary. So, here we are.
